Dan Gibbs has been with Hoop Mountain Midwest since early 2012. He comes to Hoop Mountain Midwest after spending the last several years coaching in the college ranks. Gibbs spent time on the staffs of Division 1 New Jersey Institute of Technology and Division 3 Hartwick College. Also, Gibbs was a student assistant and office assistant during his time as a student at Syracuse University. At Syracuse, Gibbs worked under Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim plus with multiple NBA first round draft picks.
In addition to his college coaching experience, Gibbs has a strong background in youth basketball, having worked the camps, tournaments, and showcases of IMG Basketball Academy, Jim Boeheim Big Orange Basketball Camp, Hoop Mountain New England, Providence College, Syracuse Elite Prospect Camp, Zero Gravity, among others.
